چکیده

مطالعه حاضر به­منظور بررسی و تعیین ویژگی­های زادآوری اگرت کوچک Egretta garzetta در جزیره علی سیاه رودخانه کارون در استان خوزستان در سال­های 87-86 انجام گردیده است. زادآوری اگرت کوچک با آشیانه­سازی در تاریخ نهم فروردین آغاز و در تاریخ چهارم تیرماه با پرواز آخرین جوجه خاتمه یافت. در این مطالعه 30 آشیانه به­صورت تصادفی و از طریق پیمایش با قایق انتخاب گردید. از میان آشیانه­های انتخابی مجموعاً 100 تخم با میانگین 33/3 (5-3) تخم در هر آشیانه یافت گردید. میانگین موفقیت در مراحل تخم، Nestling و Post-nestling به‏‌‏ترتیب 75%، 65%، 62% و تلفات در مراحل مختلف نیز به‏‌‏ترتیب 25%، 10% و 3% تعیین گردید. اختلاف معنی‏‌‏داری از نظر تلفات در مرحله قبل از تفریخ و سایر مراحل دیگر زادآوری مشاهده گردید. دستجات تخم، گروه­های همزاد و ویژگی­های آشیانه اثر معنی­داری در موفقیت زادآوری نداشتند. با توجه به موقعیت خاص جزیره در رودخانه کارون و دسترسی محدود، بیشترین تأثیر منفی روی موفقیت زادآوری ناشی از عوامل طبیعی (26%) بوده است.
