Abstract
Juglon is the most available flavonoide in walnut green skin and its antidiabetic effects has attracted researchers in the recent years. The aim of this study is to investigation of J.regia husk hydroalcoholic extract on biochemical blood parameters in diabetic rats. In present study, 40 male rats divided in 4 groups. 1 (normal saline) was treated by saline. 2 (control) was treated by alloxan monohydrate. 3 (extract) included diabetic rats that received hydro-alcoholic extract of J.regia. 4 (glibenclamide) included diabetic rats that received glibenclamide. The results showed significant reduction of glucose– triglyceride and LDL levels in group 3 in comparison with group 2 (P<0.001). The extract also could increase HDL levels significantly compared with group 2 (P<0.001). According to the results of the present study, the extract of walnut green skin has a certain antidiabetic effect and reduces the blood glucose, lipoproteins TG, LDL, and increases the blood HDL. However to determine the exact mechanism needs to be broader studies.
Keywords: J. regia hydroalcoholic extract, Diabetes mellitus, Glibenclamide, Rat.

Abstract Nanoparticles (NPs) are increasingly recognized as their usage in biological applications including nanomedicine and food safety. Purpose of this study was Study on Comparison of antibacterial effect of ZnO nanoparticles in apple juice at 25 and 4 ° C. The present study investigated the antibacterial activity of ZnO was tested against Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereus in apple juice during storage at 25◦C and 4◦C. The bactericidal activity of the ZnO depended upon storage temperature, ZnO concentration, and microorganism type. ZnO was more effective at 25C ◦ than at 4C ◦ in studied apple juice. Bacillus cereus was more resistant to ZnO than Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus. This study suggested that the application of ZnO NPs as antibacterial agents in food systems and medicine may be effective at inhibiting certain pathogens. Keywords: Foods, Nanoparticles, Pathogens, Antibacterial agents, Zinc oxide.

Abstract E.coli is known one of the most important bacteria as it causes some problems such as urinary tract and noncosomial. In this study, the antimicrobial susceptibility of E.coli in the urine culture in the west of Mazandaran province was determined. For this descriptive study, a total of 357 urine samples were collected over a 12 month period. Then all specimens included in this study were routinely cultured on the EMB and MacConkey plates. All suspected colonies were identified and confirmed by Gram staining, colony characteristics, motility and biochemical reactions by MIVP tests for each isolates. Susceptibility tests were done by disc diffusion method according NCCLS standards. Out of 357 specimens, 302 samples were positive cultures for E.coli. According to our results of antimicrobial tests, the highest susceptibilities were to Ciprofloxacin, Gentamicin, Nitrofurantoin with 48.4%, 43.3% and 37.9%, respectively. Also statistical analysis by SPSS, chi square test, showed that sensitivity to some antibiotics such as Ceftriaxon, Nalidixic acid and Ceftizoxime was significant (χ2 test, P≤5) between men and women. In our study, the highest sensitivity for E.coli isolates was to ciprofloxacin and the rate of E.coli related sensitivity for most of antibiotics was not considerable.

Abstract
Effect of selection index in four Iranian commercial lines (107, 110, 153 and 154) on performance of their hybrids including 107×110, 110×107, 153×154 and 154×153 was investigated. Selection index program was performed on all 3P commercial lines during 9 generations. Next generation parents of 3P lines were selected in each generation, by construction of selection matrix based on heritability parameters, correlations between cocoon weight, cocoon shell weight and cocoon shell percentage and also phenotypic mean of traits. In the 10th generation, 2P populations (produced by random cross of 3P) were mated randomly and P (parent) silkworm eggs were produced by random mating of 2P population. P populations in selected and random groups were reared under rural (silkworm rearing house) conditions. Control P population was produced by crossing 2P populations (produced by non-selected 3P lines). F1 hybrids of control group (non-selected) were reared simultaneously. From obtained results, it was showed selection by index method in 3P lines has significant effect on performance improvement of silkworm F1 hybrids. There was significant difference for cocoon weight between two selected (1.556gr) and non-selected (1.486gr) groups (P<0.05). Meanwhile shell cocoon weight had significant difference between two selected (0.344gr) and non-selected (0.310gr) groups (P<0.05). Also, cocoon shell percentage showed significant difference between two selected (22.268%) and non-selected index (21.037%) groups (P<0.05).

Abstract
In order to identify plant parasitic nematodes associated with orchards in Qom Province and determining their distribution, 80samples of soil and root were collected from different locations, during spring and autumn of 2011 the samples were washed and nematodes were extracted by centrifugal floatation technique. They were fixed and transfered to glycerin according to the De Grissemethod. The permanent slides were prepared from the extracted nematodes and some cross sections were made from different parts of the body. After preparation of slides, morphological and morphometrical characters specimens were studied by light microscope attached to drawing tube and identification of speciesis determinated with purvey perfect description and comparision with initial description and other valid science refrences. In result 28 species belonging to different genera of Tylenchida and one species of Dorylaimida and were identified and their distribution were determined. Results of this survey showed that the most of these and four species belong to the genera of Ditylenchus and Aphelenchoides respectively that there are in most of orchards. Macropostoniaxenoplax, Scutylenchusrugosus, Pratylenchusneglectus and Xiphinemaindexwere found in 62.5, 58.5, 37.5 and 37.5 percent of samples, respectively, and they were the most aboundant species in the fruit trees of the province.
