This research was conducted to study the effects of different light colors on growth indices (Growth Rate and Specific Growth Rate), Feed Conversion and Survival Rate in Tiger barb (Barbus tetazone) fish for 6 weeks. 120 fish with an average weight 75 ±0.02 were respectively divided in four groups of white, natural, green and blue colors (with three replicates for each treatment). Fish fed twice a day with Biomar commercial food. Results showed that growth indices (GR, SGR) and FCR were significantly different in varied light colors (P

Abstract The aim of current study was to evaluate the effects of heavy metal cadmium on liver tissue of gold fish during experimental condition. Study was in a week on 5 treatments and 3 replicates, five concentration (2.8, 5.6, 8.4 and 11.2 ppm respectively) of cadmium as 0 (control), 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of LC50 were selected and tested. Histopathological changes were done using classic histology method in hematoxylin and eosin staining and using a light microscope and camera images properly installed and connected the camera to the computer system software was developed. The overall result of this study showed that in liver tissue exposed to cadmium over a week with increasing duration of exposure to pesticide exposure, a high level of toxin in the lesion by the most frequent lesions end of a week, was observed including necrosis, atrophy and cloudy swelling of the cell. Result of this study show that liver tissue have many lesions in response to cadmium in one week and it will be increase with concentration and duration of toxin, as it was seen highest amount of lesions at the end of experiment within last dose.

This study was performed to determine the effect of Phallocryptus spinosa as a diet on fecundity and hatching performance of 4 trade valuable prawn ornamental fish genera, including Angel Fish (Pterophyllum scalare), Green Tailor (Aequidens rivulatus), Gourami (Trichopodus trichopterus) , and Afra (Cynotilapia afra). Prawn ornamental fish genera, were studied in two test groups feeding with cow heart and spinach – and fairy shrimp (Phallocryptus spinosa) in one treatment and two replicates for a month in controlled condition and sultable for each genera. Also, additionally, all fish were fed granulated concentrate daily. Between group comparison in each genera showed a significant difference (pPhallocryptus spinosa can increase reproductive performance in mentioned prawn ornamental fish.
