Introduction: Due to the increasing use of high intake of saturated fatty acids and their effects on overall physiological structures, effects of unsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 and omega-6, and the proportion of these two together is essential physiological functions. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the interaction of corn and salmon fish’s oil on avoidance learning in mature male rat.Method: In this empirical research work, we used 72 mature male rats weighing from 180-200g were enrolled as the control, sham and experiment groups. The control group was no treated. The sham group received only 1 ml saline, 6 experimental groups of different types received 0.5, 1 and 1.5 ml/kg body weight corn oil, and 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 ml/kg body weight and 1 group other received doses of 0.5 and 1.5, salmon oil and corn oil respectively, daily for 28 days. For avoidance learning behavior, the rats were trained to shuttle box and 24 hours after training, the rats were tested retrieval. The data were evaluated using ANOVA.Results: The results showed that consumption of corn and salmon’s oil alone enhances learning and taking the time to arrange a 3 to 1 ratio, boost the oil alone is more than the avoidance learning.Discussion and conclusion: Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids the rate 3 to 1, are most effective in promoting avoidance learning, so further investigation can be listed using ratios to enhance learning and prevention of Alzheimer's, it uses .

Increasing the levels of blood lipids is the most common factors in diabetes that will exacerbate its complications. PJ (Pomegranate juice) is a nutrient with medical purposes. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of pomegranate juice on levels of triglycerides, cholesterol; LDL and HDL in healthy and diabetic adult male rats were done. In the study, 90 adult male rats weighing 220-200 g were divided into groups of control, diabetic and non-diabetic experimental groups. Each group includes 9 mice. Experimental groups received respectively 1, 2 and 4 ml of pomegranate juice per rat for 21 days. To create diabetes by Intra-peritoneal injection, streptozotocin 60mg/kg was used. At the end of experiment by the phlebotomizing the animal hearts, serum levels of triglycerides, cholesterol, LDL and HDL were measured. Data were analyzed by ANOVA and LSD tests. The results showed that pomegranate juice in doses of 2 and 4 ml caused a significant reduction in triglyceride levels, respectively, in the P

As a stabilizing agent, docetaxel can potentially reduce the damage to the oocyte cytoskeleton during vitrification. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of docetaxel on the survival rate and in vitro fertilization of oocytes after vitrification. NMRI mice (8-10 weeks old) were superovulated by injecting PMSG and HCG. Oocytes are surrounded by cumulus and corona cells and must be denuded by 0.1% hyaluronidase enzyme. The oocytes were then divided into 5 experimental groups including control, docetaxel, docetaxel+vitrification solution; docetaxel+ vitrification and vitrification. Mature oocytes were vitrified in ethylene glycol and dimethyl sulfoxide solutions at 15% concentration and 0.5 M sucrose. After thawing, their survival and fertilization rates were assessed up to the two-cell stage. Staining of the microtubules in the oocytes was performed with alpha-tubulin antibody. The fertilization rate of each group showed a significant decrease compared to the control group (P=0.001). The rate of formation of 2-cell embryos in both vitrified groups (docetaxel+ vitrified and vitrified vitrified) was significantly lower than non-vitrified (control (P=0.001) and docetaxel ((P=0.004)). The results showed that survival and fertilization rates in pre-incubated groups with docetaxel were higher than non-incubated groups, so docetaxel could improve reproductive techniques by reducing the damage to the oocyte cytoskeleton.

Abstract Human studies have great challenges in understanding the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome due to ethical and practical limitations and animal models have high value in the study of this syndrome. Regarding estrogenic properties of royal jelly, the aim of this study was to investigation of establishment possibility of royal jelly-induced polycystic ovary syndrome disorder model in rat. In this experimental study,40 adult virgin female rats strain weighing 180±20grwere divided in 5 groups of 8. control group without treatment, sham group received normal saline as treatment solvent and 3 experimental groups respectively intraperitoneally injection received 250, 500 and 1000mg/kgBW of royal jelly for 21 days.At the end of the treatment period the blood samples were taken from all groups, serum concentration of sex hormones were measured and the follicles were counted by isolating the ovaries and preparing the tissue sections. The data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. The results of this study showed that the serum concentration estradiolhormone and the number of primordial follicles in the 250mg/kgBW recipient group were significantly increase than control group (p<0.05); Also ovarian cysts were not observed in histopathologic examination of ovarian tissue. Royal jelly increases serum concentration estradiol hormone and the number of primordial follicles at a minimal dosage but with increasing does not changes in serum concentration of sex hormones also tissue and ovarian function.

Glucocorticoids are observed to increase at anxiety and different stressful situations. This augmentation is driven by stimulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis which can threaten physical and mental health in long-term. Thus, this study compared the effects of diazepam and currant hydroalcoholic extract on serum corticosterone level in adult male rat. In this reserch, 48 adult male mice were used in 6 groups of 8 animals, including the control (no treatment), Sham (receiving water) and 4 experimental groups receiving doses of 100, 200, 400 mg/kg from currant hydroalcoholic extract and 1 mg/kg of diazepam by gavage. After 15 days, rats perceived stress in elevated plus maze, after which corticosterone level was measured in the serum of the blood collected from their heart. Results were statically analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey's test. The results showed that the doses of 200 and 400 mg/kg from currant extract significantly increases (P≤0.05) and diazepam significantly decreases (P≤0.01) the corticosterone levels, serum. Diazepam reduced corticosterone levels in serum by affecting the benzodiazepine receptors and facilitating inhibitory effect of GABA while currant extract increased it probably by stimulating noradrenergic pathways.

Pomegranate juice is probably having a flavonoid and minerals such as zinc and by increasing insulin levels caused to reduce the amount of triglycerides, cholesterol, LDL and increase HDL in diabetic rats.

Introduction:Morphine and other opioid drugs through by increasing brain dopaminergic systems are used to induce dependence and craving. This study investigated the effects of Ldopa as dopamine precursor on creating dependency of morphine.Materials and Methods:In this study, 56 male mature mice (about 80 days old) with a weight of 30-35 grams were enrolled as the experimental, sham and the control groups. The experimental groups included 5 subgroups treated with either morphine, Ldopa with dose of minimum, Ldopa with dose of maximum, morphine+ Ldopa with dose of minimum and morphine+ Ldopa with dose of maximum. Morphine was used for dependency and Ldopa was used as dopamine precursor and CCP method was used to estimate dependency. The data were statistically analyzed by independent Student’s t-test using SPSS version 18.Results:Results showed no meaningful difference between the control and the witness groups. However, there was a meaningful difference between the control group with morphine, Ldopa and Ldopa+morphine groups in preferring a location to receive morphine. And also no meaningful difference between the Ldopa+morphine group in preferring the location for receiving the drug compared with the group receiving morphine alone. Conclusion:Morphine through stimulating mesolimbic dopaminergic nerve pathways and Ldopa through increased production of dopamine in the brain are causes increasing dependence.
