Abstract Head lice Pediculus humanus capitis De Geer belongs to heterometablian insects of Phthiraptera and is known as a very serious environmental health pest throughout the world that infests millions of people annually. This study was designed to investigate the morphometric characteristics of different populations of head lice in five countryside’s in south-east of Tehran province. Head lices were sampled from high school girls through autumn 2014 to spring 2015 and preserved in ethanol 70%. Fifteen characteristics were measured for males and females and data were analyzed by ANOVA under 99% confidence level. The means were compared by Duncan mean comparison tool. The results showed that there is high level of variations among the studied populations of head lice in the area and this variation would be due to the high level of genetic variations.

Squamata or scaled Reptiles are the largest order of new Reptiles including Lizards, Snakes and Amphisbaenia. They have formed 95 precent of new Reptiles. Our goal is Lizard Biodiversity of Torbat-e Heydaryeh in Razavi Khorasan Province. The study of Lizards Biodiversity of Torbat-e Heydaryeh in Razavi Khorasan Province was carried out in 2012 until 2013. In this research 132 specimens were collected and observed and identified on the basis of morphological, morphometric and meristic characters. The collected and observated Lizards belonging to 5 families: Agamidae, Lacertidae, Scincidae, Gekkonidae and Varanidae including 8 genera and 12 species. Results showed that Agamidae and Lacertidae families have the most frequency. The Agamidae family has the most genera and Lacertidae family has the most species. laudakia caucasia, laudakia microlepis, Trapelus sanguinolentus and Mesalina watsonana were the dominant species in this region and had a wider distribution rang in coparision with other species.

This study carried out on 194 fish (Garra rufa) during the months of January to March at eight stations in Dinvar River located at Kermanshah province. During this study, 34 attributes and 11 traits count was measured geometric parameters and natural mortality and total amount 0.346, infinite length L∞=124.57 mm, growth factor K=0.29 and the length and weight of the exponential function of growth were calculated. The length-weight relationship was calculated for each season separately, which indicates isometric growth during summer and autumn and allometric growth during the winter and spring seasons. The length-weight relationship for the whole year was calculated aqual to W= 1/000095L2/97. Male to female sex ratio of 1: 1.44 were calculated for faster growth in males and natural selection is directed towards the elimination of larger samples. Results indicate that the Dinvar river is a good place for spawning and nursery to Brood fish. The data were confirmed by isolation of populations between the stations and it seems that fish populations of stations are panmictic. However, further studies confirm that these results depends on genetic traits, physiological and Osteology Lange populations.

Rodent have global spread and include the largest order of mammals that their broad range of adaptation is extensive. So far don’t perform a study on rodent fauna of Ferdows County. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify this part of the vertebrates in this area. In this regard in order to identification and biosystematics survey of rodent fauna from winter 2014 to June 2014 in different parts of the area sampling was done by using different traps. Cached samples were identified by cranial, dental and morphometric characteristics. Based on results five species recognized in Ferdows which including Mus musculus, Tatera indica, Meriones persicus, Nesokia indica and Cricetulus migratorius.

Abstract Lizards have significant roles in life cycle and are related to humans either directly or indirectly. Identifying of the fauna of a region is the most necessary and the most significant biological and fundamental research in it. Mazandaran Province has diverse biological conditions because of its geographical location and special ecological conditions, the proximity of the sea to the mountains and diverse vegetation. Samples were collected in Mazandaran and bio-systematic study of Cyrtopodionscabrum was manipulated there as well from March, 2012 to June, 2013. The samples were collected by hands or sticks and after being photographed, they were fixed in formalin 4% and ethyl alcohol 75% and were identified using valid sources. Seven samples belonging toCyrtopodionscabrum, including 2 female and 5 male samples, were collected in the current study. Then, morphologic, morphometric and meristic characteristics of the samples were studied. Cyrtopodion scabrum has been collected and reported for the first time in Mazandaran Province in this study.
