This study was conducted to investigate life history characteristics of Hircan crested loach (P. hircanica). A total of 150 specimens collected using electro-shocker from December 2015 to May 2016. Results showed that the sex ratio of male to female is 1:0.65 indicating significant difference of males and females abundance in the studied population (χ2=6.83). The maximum observed total length and weight were 87 mm and 5.30 g for females, 104 mm 7.31 g for males. The weight - length relationship of female was W= 0.0085 TL2.89, of male W= 0.0109 TL2.74 and of the studied population was W= 0.0099 TL2.80. The growth model was isometric for females and negative allometric type for males and the population (t-test, tmale= 6.31, tfemale=1.61, tpopulation= 5.03, P<0.05). The average absolute fecundity was 328.86 per female and the relative fecundity was 110.56 eggs/g of females’ weight. Eggs diameters ranged from 0.45 to 1.79 mm with a mean value of 0.99 mm. The highest mean Gonadosomatic index (GSI) of the females was recorded in April, and of the males in May, indicating the highest reproductive activity of females and males occurs in June and May respectively.

To study reproductive characteristics of Caucasian dwarf goby (K. caucasica), a total of 149 samples were caught in the Gorgan bay and 192 inthe Gomishanwetlandusing beach seine during a period from February 2014 to May 2016.Thereproductive characteristics including sex ratio, gonadal development index, and absolute fecundity, relative fecundity were calculated.Samples of Gorgan bay ranged from 8.07 to 39.41 mm TL and 0.01 to 0.84 g total weight, while the samples caught in Gomishan wetland had total lengthlength between 15.48 to 44.78 mm and in the total weight between 0.05 to 1.10g.The highest condition factor in the Gorgan bay for both sexes was observed in February and March, and in the Gomishan wetland for in January and April. In the both study areas, the highest average GSIof females was observed in March and of malesin April. Minimum, maximum and average ofabsolute fecundity were 79.80, 888 and 387,37in the Gorgan bay respectively, and the relative fecundity were 152.58, 2733.54 and 797.11 respectively. While absolute fecundities’ minimum, maximum and averagewere 136.96,1002.22 and 482.94 and those of relative fecundity 243.70,2326.53 and 870.32. Ova diameter ranged between 0.24 to 0.84 mm with a mean value of 0.52 mm, and in the Gomishan wetland mean of the diameter was 0.50 mm ranging from 0.26 to 0.85 mm. Analysis of GSI revealed that the species spawns once per year in a short period, and has different eggs during this period.

In this study were reviewed some biological characteristics including sex ratio, gonadosomatic index, fecundity and egg diameter Carassius gibelio in the study area from February to September 2015. During the study, 222 specimens from Boostan dam and 238 specimens from Alakoli Reservoir were sampled using small beach seine. The maximum total length and weight of Boostan dam for females and males respectively 206 mm, 141.12 gr and 126 mm, 33.90 gr and in the Alakoli Reservoir for females respectively 196 mm, 114.65 gr and for males was 190 mm, 98/64 gr. The sex ratio of fish caught from Boostan dam to 1:7.88 and the sex ratio of fish caught from the Alakoli Reservoir was 1: 10/90. The highest average gonadosomatic index (GSI) in Boostan dam for female in April (10.27±4.40) and the male (3.56±1.21) in March were observed, This factore in the Alakoli Reservoir area for female (11.73±2.99 ) and male(3.22±0.85) were observed on March and May. The Minimum, maximum and mean absolute fecundity in Boostan dam with 532/08 respectively, 82039/36 and 13119/44 and in the Alakoli pools area 1503/75, 120786/00 and 23174/60 and The minimum, maximum and average were Relative fecundity (eggs per kg body weight) respectively in Boostan dam with 37/54, 4344/34 and 593/10 and in the Alakoli reservoir respectively was 92/97, 23377/20 and 1987/60. The Eggs diameter of 0.11 to 1.00 mm and the average of 0.56 mm in Boostan dam lake area was variable. While this indicator of 0.11 to 1.07 and the average of 0.54 mm in Alakoli Reservoir area was variable.

Abstrac The aim of this study was to determinate the effect of trout farm sewage on fecundity and diversity of macro invertebrate benthoses with some biological indices. This study was done on the Marber River in Semirom city, the southwest area of Isfahan province. Sampling was took place in five stations on summer of 2012, monthly using a Surber sampler (30.5cm×30.5 cm). Sampling in each station was done in three points (edges and middle of the river). Captured samples were fixed in 4% formalin and were taken to the laboratory. In laboratory animals were collected with a sieve of 500 microns in diameter springs to assort and identify to the least level possible (families and genera). In this study, several biological parameters such as: Abundance, Biomass, Similarity, Shannon-Wiener, EPT/ Chironomidae, Margalef richness, Hylsnhvf, BMWP index and ASPT index was used. Eventually 20 families, with 10 orders, 7 classes and 5 phyla were identified.

This study was conducted to determine regional variation in growth characteristics and age structure of Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758) in the Southern Caspian Sea basin from April to June 2011. A total of 958 specimens from 3 areas including: Golestan (area 1), Mazandaran (area 2) and Guilan(area 3) were collected. In southern Caspian basin, the total length and weight of specimens ranged 22.00-30.00 cm and 138.62-347.70 g, respectively. The ages ranged from 0+ to 5+ years for males and from 0+ to 6+ years for females in all sampling areas. Parameters of von Bertalanffy growth function were different between males and females of each area and between the same sexes of different areas. The largest L∞ was found in the area 3 for female (L∞=38.97 cm).According to b values obtained, both sexes (except males of station 1) show a positive allometric growth. The highest values of condition factor were observed for males in early June. The result indicates that higher value of growth rate was for females.
