تأثیر مصرف دو داروی آنتیبیوتیکی (تریمتوپریم – سولفامتوکسازول) بر میزان ضربان قلب و طول موج QT در گاوهای نژاد هلشتاین
چکیده ترمتوپریم به همراه سولفامتوکسازول طیف اثر گستردهای بر فعالیت باکتریهای گرم مثبت و منفی دارد. با وجود اثرات مثبت این داروها در درمان بیمارهای دامی عوارض جوانبی متعددی نیز برای این داروها گزارش شده است که عبارتند از: عوارض پوستی، مشکلات خونی، گوارشی، کلیوی و بیماری های قلبی و عروقی. به نظر میرسد اثرات قلبی این دارو با بلوک کانالهای پتاسیمی و طولانی کردن فاصله QT همراه باشد. هدف ازمطالعه حاضر ارزیابی اثرات مصرف هم زمان تریمتوپریم- سولفامتوکسازول بر تغییرات الکتروکاردیوگرافی گاوهای نژاد هلشتاین است. در این مطالعه از 10 راس گاو هلشتاین سالم (5 راس گاو نر و 5 راس گاو ماده غیرآبستن و خشک با میانگین سنی 5 سال و وزن حدودا ً25±450 کیلوگرم) بهطور تصادفی استفاده گردید و از همه نمونهها نوار قلب در دو زمان قبل و بعد از تجویز دارو اخذ گردید، سپس دارو با دوز 1 میلیلیتر بهازای 10 کیلوگرم وزن دو بار در روز و بهمدت 5 روز متوالی بهصورت عضلانی درناحیه گردن تزریق و در پایان بهمنظور اخذ نوار قلب گاوها به محیطی آرام و به دور از استرس انتقال یافتند. یاختههای این مطالعه تغییرات معنیداری در طول موج QT و ضربان قلب بهدنبال تجویز این ترکیب (تریمتوپریم- سولفامتوکسازول) در گاو نشان داد (01/0P<).

اثر عصاره هیدروالکلی میوه خنجوک بر برخی پارامترهای خونی در موشهای صحرایی نر نژاد ویستار (Rattus norvegicus allivias)
چکیدهخنجوک (Pistacia khinjuk) یکی از گونههای پسته و از گیاهان دارویی بومی ایران است. این گیاه فعالیتهای فارماکولوژیکی زیادی نشان داده است و در طب سنتی برای درمان بیماریهای مختلفی استفاده شده است. مطالعه تجربی حاضر بهمنظور بررسی اثرات عصاره هیدروالکلی خنجوک بر تابلو خونی موش صحرایی انجام شد. تعداد 18 سر موش صحرایی نر نژاد ویستار، به سه گروه شش تایی تقسیم شدند. گروه اول تا سوم به ترتیب با عصاره خنجوک mg/kg bw 200، خنجوک mg/kg bw 400 و آب مقطر (گروه شاهد) به مدت 30 روز از طریق گاواژ تیمار شدند. سپس خونگیری از قلب موشها انجام و پارامترهای خونی اندازهگیری شدند. برای ارزیابی معنیدار بودن اختلاف میانگین پارامترهای خونی بین گروههای مختلف، آزمون T، در سطح معنیداری 05/0 > P انجام شد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که بین گروه شاهد و گروه دریافتکننده خنجوک با غلظت mg/kg bw 200، میانگین تعداد گلبولهای قرمز و غلظت هموگلوبین از نظر آماری معنیدار بود. بین گروه شاهد و گروه دریافتکننده خنجوک با غلظت mg/kg bw 200، میانگین تعداد گلبولهای قرمز، گلبولهای سفید و غلظت هموگلوبین از نظر آماری معنیدار بود (05/0>P). سایر پارامترهای خونی بین گروههای مختلف تفاوت معنیداری نداشت. همچنین اختلاف درصد نوتروفیلها (002/0=P) و لنفوسیتها (012/0=P) بین گروهها از نظر آماری معنیدار بود. نتایج این مطالعه تأثیر عصاره خنجوک بر افزایش تعداد گلبولهای قرمز، غلظت هموگلوبین و تعداد گلبولهای سفید خون را در موش صحرایی نشان داد.

مقایسه سمیت علفکش بوتاکلر بر ماهی کپور دریایی (Cyprinus carpio) و ماهی سفید دریای خزر (Rutilus kutum)
چکیده یکی از مهمترین عواملی که امروزه با توجه به روند رو به رشد صنعت و تکنولوژی خطرات آن احساس میشود، سموم دفع آفات نباتی است که با ورود به اکوسیستمهای آبی میتواند موجبات تخریب جوامع آبزیان را در درازمدت سبب گردد. از این رو در این تحقیق سمیت حاد کوتاهمدت بوتاکلر که به مقدار زیادی در مزارع کشاورزی استفاده میگردد بر روی بچه ماهیان 7-5 گرمی کپور دریایی و ماهی سفید دریای خزر مطالعه گردید. آزمایشات بهصورت ساکن و براساس روش استاندارد O.E.C.D انجام و پارامترهای فیزیکوشیمیایی آب در طول دوره آزمایش ثابت بود. براساس نتایج بهدستآمده سمیت حاد بوتاکلر برای بچه ماهیان کپور دریایی و سفید دریای خزر بهترتیب 785/0 و 258/0 میلیگرم در لیتر محاسبه گردید و در ادامه حداکثر غلظت مجاز این سم 078/0 و 025/0 میلیگرم در لیتر بهترتیب برای بچه ماهیان کپور دریایی و ماهی سفید دریای خزر محاسبه گردید. با توجه به جدول تعیین سمیت سموم مختلف، ماهی سفید دریای خزر حساسیت بیشتری نسبت به کپور دریایی در برابر بوتاکلر دارد.

مطالعه فونستیکی فسیلهای جمعآوریشده شاخه نرمتنان، رده دوکفهایها از اطراف روستای دادقان، شهرستان تفرش- استان مرکزی
چکیده نرمتنان بدنی نرم و بدون تقسیم دارند و دارای ریختشناسی متنوعی هستند که اغلب در یک صدف آهکی قرار گرفتهاند. این مطالعه، در سال 1389، در اطراف روستای دادقان شهرستان تفرش از استان مرکزی انجام شد و تمام لایههای گسترده در این منطقه یافت و عملیات نمونهبرداری در جهت عمود بر این لایهها انجام گرفت. سپس موقعیت جغرافیایی محل نمونهبرداری توسط GPS ثبت شد و نمونهها به آزمایشگاه زیستشناسی دانشگاه اراک انتقال یافتند، سرانجام نمونهها توسط منابع شناسایی معتبر، شناسایی شدند. در بررسی حاضر، فسیل مورد مطالعه متعلق به جنسPectin از خانواده Pectenidae بود. این جنس از رده دوکفهایهاست، رده دوکفهایها نرمتنانی هستند که در آب شیرین و شور زندگی میکنند. برخی از ویژگیهای مهم این جنس عبارتند از: صدف خارجی دایرهای شکل، تقارن جانبی در یک کفه و نابرابری با کفه دیگر، وجود یک عضله منحصر بهفرد و شیارهای سطحی بر روی صدف که به شکل خطوط شعاعی و ضخیم مشاهده شد. جنس پکتن برای اولین بار از استان مرکزی گزارش میشود.

تغییرات تنوع و تراکم جمعیت پرندگان آبزی و کنار آبزی در تالاب سد شیرین سو
چکیده امروزه پرندگان آبزی و کنار آبزی از جنبههای مختلف دارای ارزش بالایی بوده و در مطالعات به عنوان شاخص تنوع زیستی بهشمار میروند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی روند تغییر و مقایسه شاخصهای تنوع و تراکم پرندگان آبزی و کنار آبزی تالاب سد شیرین سو در استان همدان به مدت یک سال انجام گرفت. برای این منظور پرندگان این تالاب از مهر 1388 تا شهریور 1389 هر ماه سرشماری شدند. نتایج حاصل از بررسیها نشان داد که بیشترین تراکم پرندگان در ماه آبان و برابر با 78/23 قطعه در هکتار بوده است. بیشترین و کمترین مقدار شاخص تنوع در میان شاخصهای به کار رفته برای شاخص سیمپسون بهترتیب با ارزش عددی 93/0 و 69/0 نشان داده شد. بیشترین مقدار شاخص یکنواختی نیز برای شاخص اسمیت و ویلسون (8/0) و همچنین کمترین مقدار برای شاخص سیمپسون (27/0) و کامارگو (27/0) بهدست آمدند. بیشینه و کمینه تراکم در دوره بررسی در تالاب سد شیرین سو بهترتیب به ماههای آبان (78/23) و بهمن (17/1) اختصاص داشت. تعداد گونههای کنار آبزی در ماههای مختلف سال بیشتر از گونههای آبزی بود در حالیکه فراوانی پرندگان آبزی همواره بیشتر از کنار آبزی بوده است. بهنظر میرسد تالاب سد شیرین سو از نظر مهیا کردن منابع تغذیهای برای گونههای آبزی قابلیت بهتر و بیشتری داشته است و این مسئله نیز با مشاهده فراوانی بیشتر پرندگان آبزی نسبت به گونههای کنار آبزی نمود پیدا کرده است.

مدلسازی مطلوبیت بالقوه زیستگاه جبیر (Gazella bennettii shikarii) در پناهگاه حیاتوحش نایبندان
چکیده جبیر (Gazella bennettiishikarii) کوچکترین آنتیلوپ ایران است که جمعیت و دامنه انتشار آن نسبت به گذشته کاهش زیادی داشته است. این گونه سازگار با زیستگاههای خشک و بیابانی است و پناهگاه حیاتوحش نایبندان بهعنوان یکپارچهترین و بکرترین زیستگاه باقیمانده جبیر در ایران شناخته میشود. برای مدلسازی مطلوبیت زیستگاه جبیر در این پناهگاه ابتدا با بازدیدهای میدانی در منطقه لایه حضور گونه تهیه شد. به منظور مدلسازی مطلوبیت زیستگاه جبیر با استفاده از نقاط حضور، از روش تحلیل فاکتور آشیان اکولوژیک (ENFA) بهرهگیری شد. متغیرهای مستقل محیطزیستی درصد شیب، طبقات جهت جغرافیایی، ارتفاع از سطح دریا، اشکال توپوگرافی و ژئومرفولوژی، پوششگیاهی منابع آب و متغیرهای توسعه انسانی نظیر روستاها و جادهها در مدلسازی استفاده شدند. نتایج نشان داد جبیر تمایل به زندگی در زیستگاههایی در محدوده ارتفاعی 570 تا 1800 متر از سطح دریا؛ شیب 5 تا 30 درصد، جهت جغرافیایی شمال، نزدیک چشمهها، آبراههها و کوهپایهها و تیپهای گیاهی تاغ، اشنان و درمنه دارد. براساس مدلسازی انجام شده 58/33 درصد از وسعت نایبندان، زیستگاه مطلوبی برای جبیر است. حفاظت مناسب از زیستگاههای مطلوب منطقه و پیشگیری از تخریب آنها بهویژه از طریق توسعه جادهها و معادن و انجام مطالعات تکمیلی برای تعیین کریدورها و جابجایی جبیر به خارج از منطقه، ضروری به نظر می رسد.

چکیدهمطالعات انسانی برای درک پاتوژنز سندروم تخمدان پلیکیستیک (PCOS) به دلیل محدودیتهای اخلاقی و عملی با چالشهای فراوانی روبرو میباشد بنابراین استفاده از مدلهای حیوانی در مطالعات مربوط به این سندروم از ارزش بالایی برخوردارند. لذا با توجه به خواص استروژنیک ژله رویال، این پژوهش با هدف بررسی امکان ایجاد مدل اختلالPCOSالقا شده با ژله رویال در رتانجام گردید.در این مطالعه تجربی، از 40 سر رَت ماده بالغ با وزن 20±180 گرم استفاده گردید که به 5 گروه 8تایی شامل گروههای کنترل (بدون تیمار)، شاهد (نرمال سالین) و 3 دسته تجربی دریافتکننده مقادیر mg/kgBW1000، 500، 250 تقسیم شدند. در این مطالعه کلیه تجویزها بهصورت تزریق درونصفاقی و برای مدت 21 روز انجام گردید. در پایان دوره با خونگیری از قلب حیوانات، غلظت سرمی هورمونهای استرادیول، پروژسترون، تستوسترون، LH و FSH اندازهگیری با جداسازی تخمدانها و تهیه مقاطع بافتی تعداد فولیکولهای تخمدانی شمارش گردیدند. دادهها با کمک آزمونهای ANOVAو توکی مورد آنالیز قرار گرفتند و سطح معنیداری اختلاف دادهها 05/0p< در نظر گرفته شد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که غلظت سرمی هورمون استرادیول و تعداد فولیکولهای پریموردیال در گروه دریافت کننده دوز mg/kgBW250 نسبت به گروه کنترل افزایش معنیداری داشته است (05/0p<)؛ همچنین در بررسی هیستوپاتولوژیک بافت تخمدانها نیزکیستهای تخمدانی مشاهده نگردید.ژل رویال غلظت سرمی هورمون استرادیول و تعداد فولیکولهای پریموردیال را در دوز mg/kgBW250 افزایش داده ولی با افزایش دوز تغییری در غلظت سرمی هورمونهای جنسی، بافت و عملکرد تخمدان ایجاد نمینماید.

اثر رویکلراید بر رفتارهای اضطرابی و افسردگی موشهای صحرایی نر گنادکتومی شده در دوره قبل از بلوغ
چکیده اضطراب یک بیماری رایج در جامعه میباشد. حدود 500 میلیون نفر از مردم جهان از این اختلال رنج میبرند. 85 درصد افرادی که دچار افسردگی میباشند، دارای اضطراب نیز هستند. با توجه به اثر ضد اضطرابی متفاوت رویکلراید در موشهای نر و ماده گنادکتومی شده بعد از بلوغ، این تحقیق به بررسی اثر رویکلراید بر اضطراب و افسردگی در موشهای بالغ گنادکتومیشده قبل از بلوغ پرداخته است.در این آزمایش 50 سر موش صحرایی نر در روز 22-21 پس از تولد گنادکتومی شدند و در زمان بلوغ به شش گروه کنترل، گروه شاهد (سالین)، گروه گنادکتومی (سالین) و گروههای گنادکتومی 5، 10 و 20 میلیگرم / کیلوگرم رویکلراید تقسیم شدند. در روز 75 پس از تولد، نیم ساعت قبل از تست اضطراب (دستگاه ماز بهعلاوه مرتفع) و تست افسردگی (آزمون شنای اجباری) رویکلراید با دوزهای 5، 10، 20 میلیگرم/ کیلوگرم بهصورت درون صفاقی دریافت کردند. نتایج نشان داد که گروه گنادکتومی دریافتکننده سالین اضطراب به سطح معنیداری نرسید. گروه دریافتکننده رویکلراید20 میلیگرم/ کیلوگرم افزایش معنیداری در درصد زمان حضور در بازوی باز نسبت به گروه گنادکتومی نشان داد (05/0pp). تزریق رویکلراید در مقادیر مختلف تأثیری در بهبود افسردگی نداشت. نتایج این مطالعه، همراه بودن اضطراب با افسردگی و همچنین خاصیت ضد افسردگی رویکلراید را رد میکند.

بررسی تغییرات فراوانی درشت بیمهرگان کفزی در رودخانه زرین گل (استان گلستان)
چکیده تغییرات کاربری موجب تغییر مؤلفههای مختلف کیفیت زیستگاه و ساختار جمعیتی موجودات میشود. هدف از این مطالعه استفاده از ترکیب جوامع درشت بی مهرگان کفزی برای بررسی اثرات فعالیتهای انسانی مختلف از جمله کشاورزی، روستایی، مزارع پرورش ماهی، جنگل و منطقه شاهد (بالادست رودخانه) در طول رودخانه زرین گل، استان گلستان است. نمونهبرداری از درشت بیمهرگان کفزی به صورت ماهیانه در دو فصل (زمستان و بهار) 95-1394 و 9 ایستگاه (با توجه به کاربریهای مختلف موجود در مسیر رودخانه) با نمونهبردار سوربر (سطح 09/0 مترمربع) با سه تکرار صورت گرفت. در مجموع 1929 نمونه از بزرگ بیمهرگان کفزی شناسایی شدند که به 30 خانواده و 9 راسته تعلق داشتند. بیشترین فراوانی راسته متعلق به Ephemeroptera و Trichoptera در ایستگاههایی 6، 7، 8 و 9 و راسته Diptera در دیگر ایستگاهها در فصل بهار مشاهده شد. بیشترین مقدار شاخص تنوع شانون و غنای گونهای مارگالف در ایستگاههایی 6، 7، 8 و 9 (بالادست) بهدست آمد. تجزیهوتحلیل خوشهبندی مربوط به ایستگاهها و فصول مختلف سه گروه مجزا را نشان داد. نتایج نشان داد که تغییرات کاربری اراضی در طول رودخانه ناشی از فعالیتهای انسانی موجب کاهش فراوانی و تنوع کفزیان (کاهش موجودات زنده حساس و افزایش ارگانیزمهای مقاوم) میشود.

مطالعه تنوع گونهای زنبورهای (Chalcidoidea: Aphelinidae) Encarsia spp. در استان گلستان
چکیده زنبورهای Encarsia Förster (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Aphelinidae) جزو پارازیتوئیدهای کارآمد سفیدبالکها و سپردارها (Hemiptera: Aleyrodidae, Diaspididae) در اغلب مناطق دنیا میباشند که نقش بسیار مهمی در کاهش تراکم جمعیت این آفات در مزارع، باغات و گلخانهها ایفا مینمایند. طی نمونهبرداریهای انجام شده در مناطق مختلف استان گلستان بر اساس جمعآوری و پرورش پورههای سفیدبالکها و سپردارها به عنوان میزبانهای مهم زنبورهای Encarsia spp.در شرایط مطلوب، دوازده گونه زنبور پارازیتوئید شامل Encarsia acaudaleyrodis Hayat, 1976، Encarsia auranti (Howard, 1894)، Encarsia azimi Hayat, 1986، Encarsia berlesei (Howard, 1906)، Encarsia elegans Masi, 1911، Encarsia fasciata (Malenotti, 1917)، Encarsia formosa Gahan, 1924، Encarsia inaron (Walker, 1839)،Encarsia lounsburyi (Berlese & Paoli, 1916)، Encarsia lutea (Masi, 1909)، Encarsia mineoi Viggiani, 1982 و Encarsia perniciosi (Tower, 1913) جمعآوری و شناسایی گردیدند. در این پژوهش علاوه بر جمعآوری و شناسایی زنبورهای Encarsia از مناطق مختلف استان گلستان، اسامی همنام، پراکنش گونهها و توصیف گونههای جمعآوری شده و کلید شناسایی نیز ارائه شده است.

تأثیر اسید استیک بر رشد و تخمیر اتانول قارچهای فیلامنتوس Rhizopus oryzae، Mucor indicus، Neurospora intermedia و Aspergilus oryzae
چکیده ترکیبات سمی و بازدارنده موجود در فرآوردههای هیدرولیزی مواد لیگنوسلولزی از قبیل اسید استیک و ترکیبات فنلی، مشکل اصلی فرآیند تبدیل بیوشیمیایی مواد لیگنوسلولزی به سوختهای زیستی مانند بیواتانول میباشند. در این تحقیق، عملکرد چهار قارچ فیلامنتوس Rhizopus oryzae، Mucor indicus، Neurospora intermedia و Aspergilus oryzae در محیط کشتهای سنتزی حاوی صفر، سه، پنج و هفت گرم بر لیتر اسید استیک بر روی تولید بیومس قارچی، مصرف قند و اسید استیک و همچنین تولید اتانول بررسی شدند. مقدار بیومس قارچی به دست آمده بعد از زمان کشت 48 و 72 ساعت نشان داد که افزودن اسید استیک به محیط کشت، سبب کاهش سرعت رشد قارچها و افزایش فاز تأخیر شد. تأثیر بازدارندگی اسید استیک بر رشد قارچ M. indicus نسبت به سایر قارچها بیشتر بوده و تولید بیومس حاصل از کشت این قارچ در غلظت بیشتر اسید استیک (پنج گرم بر لیتر) به شدت کاهش یافت، درحالیکه قارچ A. oryzae تحمل (بردباری) خوبی نسبت به اسید استیک نشان داد. نتایج نشان داد که تأثیر اسید استیک بر مقدار بیومس قارچی و تولید اتانول وابسته به غلظت اسید استیک و نوع قارچ مصرفی بوده و میتواند اثر مثبت و یا منفی داشته باشد. غلظت اتانول حاصل از تخمیر قارچهای A. oryzae و R. oryzae در محیط کشت حاوی اسید استیک به ترتیب کاهش و افزایش پیدا کرد. با توجه به نتایج تخمیر، قارچهای فیلامنتوس آزمایش شده قادر به رشد و تولید اتانول در محیط کشت حاوی هفت گرم بر لیتر اسید استیک نبودند.

بررسی میزان فیلتراسیون صدف مرواریدساز محار Pinctada radiata در شوریهای مختلف
چکیده صدف مرواریدساز محار (Pinctada radiata) از خانواده Pteriidae یکی از مهمترین صدفهای مرواریدساز خلیج فارس می باشد. این مطالعه بهمنظور تعیین مقدار بهینه شوری و بررسی اثرات آن بر میزان فیلتراسیون صدف مرواریدساز محار با استفاده از فیتوپلانکتون Isochrysis aff galbanaدر 5 تیمار شوری (20، 25، 30، 35 و 40 قسمت در هزار) و 3 تکرار صورت پذیرفت. صدفها با میانگین طول کل (پشتی-شکمی) 98/6±67/49 میلیمتر از جزیره هندورابی جمعآوری شد. تراکم اولیه فیتوپلانکتون جهت نغذیه 100000 سلول/ میلیلیتر در نظر گرفته شد و در زمانهای یک ساعته و دو ساعته مجدداً تراکم آنها شمارش شد. بیشترین فیلتراسیون در شوری 35 قسمت در هزار بود که میزان آن در ساعت اول 46/89±77/2459 و در ساعت دوم 00/57±39/2820 میلیلیتر/ ساعت/ صدف رسید که با دیگر تیمارها اختلاف معنیداری داشت (05/0P

مقایسه تجمع فلزات سنگین (آهن، روی، مس، منگنز و نیکل) در بافت نرم و سخت خرچنگ شناگر آبی (Portunus pelagicus) سواحل شهرستان بوشهر
خطرهای حاصله از تجمع زیستی فلزات در سطوح بالاتر زنجیرة غذایی، یکی از نگرانیهای عمده در بحث سلامت انسان است. فلزات سنگین در برابر تجزیه شدن مقاوم میباشند و در بدن آبزیان از جمله خرچنگ تجمع مییابند. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی مقایسه تجمع فلزات سنگین در بافت نرم و سخت خرچنگ شناگر آبی سواحل بوشهر انجام گرفت. نمونههای خرچنگ (40 عدد) در پاییز 1395 بهروش تصادفی و با استفاده از قایق و تور صیادی از سواحل بوشهر جمعآوری شد. جهت آمادهسازی نمونهها از روش هضم اسیدی استفاده گردید. میانگین غلظت فلزات آهن، روی، مس، منگنز و نیکل در بافت سخت خرچنگ شناگر آبی بهترتیب 01/43 ±70/90، 78/6±93/52، 85/13±73/37، 76/7±50/23، 66/3±37/4 میلیگرم بر کیلوگرم وزن خشک و در بافت نرم خرچنگ بهترتیب 94/56±81/112، 83/4±51/69، 17/28±28/73، 92/3±12/9، 69/3± 24/4 بهدست آمد غلظت فلزات در بافت سخت خرچنگ بهطور معنیداری بیشتر از بافت نرم بود. براساس نتایج در بافت نرم خرچنگ میانگین غلظت فلز مس بیشتر از حد استاندارد WHO و NHMRC، میانگین فلز نیکل بیشتر از حد استاندارد WHOو FAO و میانگین فلز روی کمتر از استانداردهای جهانی به دست آمد. در بافت سخت خرچنگ در مقایسه با استانداردهای جهانی میانگین فلزات مس و نیکل بیشتر و میانگین فلز روی کمتر از حد استاندارد بهدست آمد. در مجموع مقادیر فلزات نیکل و مس بالاتر از استانداردها بود که ممکن است سلامت مصرفکنندگان را به خطر میاندازد.

ارزیابی فعالیت ضد التهابی ترکیب آب فاقد دوتریوم و اسانس گل محمدی علیه آسیب سپتیکی در موش صحرایی
چکیدهسپسیس، یکی از شایع ترین علل مرگومیر در میان بیماران تحت مراقبت های ویژه در سرتاسر جهان است. با توجه به عوارض ناشی از مصرف داروهای ضد التهابی، جایگزینی ترکیبات طبیعی در درمان سپسیس پیشنهاد می شود. تأثیر ترکیب آب فاقد دوتریوم (DDW) با اسانس گل محمدی بر روی پارامترهای دخیل در آسیب اکسیداتیو و بیان ژن سیکلواکسیژناز-2 (COX-2) در بافت ریه مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. 100 موش صحرایی بهطور تصادفی به 5 گروه شامل گروه کنترل منفی (LAP)، گروه شاهد (CLP)، دو گروه تیمار ترکیب آب فاقد دوتریوم و اسانس گل محمدی (DDW15+EO و DDW30+EO) و گروه کنترل مثبت ایندومتاسین (IND) تقسیم شدند. سپس، سطوح فاکتورهای دخیل در استرس اکسیداتیو و بیان ژن COX-2 در پلاسما و بافت ریه اندازهگیری شدند. سپسیس موجب کاهش سطوح آنتی اکسیدانت کل (FRAP) و گلوتاتیون (GSH) و افزایش میزان پراکسیداسیون لیپیدها (LP) و بیان ژن COX-2 شده است، اما تیمار موشهای صحرایی با ترکیب آب فاقد دوتریوم و اسانس گل محمدی به اندازه ایندومتاسین، در تعدیل سطوح این پارامترها مؤثر بوده است، بطوریکه سبب افزایش سطوح FRAP و GSH و کاهش سطوح LP و بیان ژن COX-2گردیده است. مطالعات پاتولوژی نیز نتایج بیوشیمیایی را تایید کرد. این مطالعه نشان میدهد که سپسیس موجب آسیب اکسیداتیو بافت ریه شده، اما کاربرد ترکیبات طبیعی چون آب فاقد دوتریوم و اسانس گل محمدی با تأثیر بر روی پارامترهای استرس اکسیداتیو و آنتیاکسیدانی میتواند در جلوگیری از این آسیبها مؤثر باشد.
